Steps for Troubleshooting

1. Confirm your format

Verify your hoplink url is in the form: http://AFFILIATE.PUBLISHER.hop.clickbank.net/?tid=YOURTID
Note:
- Replace AFFILIATE with the affiliate nickname
- Replace PUBLISHER with the publisher nickname.
- Replace YOURTID with your tracking ID.

2. Confirm the availability of the publisher's pitch page

Try your hop in test mode by adding the url parameter: CBHopTest=true
(http://AFFILIATE.PUBLISHER.hop.clickbank.net/?tid=YOURTID&CBHopTest=true)
Test mode will perform the hop without redirecting to the destination page. The destination that *would have* been returned is displayed on the page.

3. Confirm regional availability

Try your hop in test mode by adding the url parameter: CBHopTest=true (http://AFFILIATE.PUBLISHER.hop.clickbank.net/?tid=YOURTID&CBHopTest=true) from a global link testing service. Following are some you may find useful:

4. Confirm availability of ClickBank's IP addresses

Try to ping each of our IP addresses directly. You can also try to 'hop' using an ipaddress hoplink format: http://ipaddress/hop/?AFFILIATE.PUBLISHER&tid=YOURTID. Replace ipaddress with the IP addresses below. (Note: this syntax is just for debugging and should not be used in marketing campaigns).

If the IP addresses worked, then your ISP may be experiencing problems with their DNS server. You can try using OpenDNS (www.opendns.com) to check if this is a problem with your ISP's DNS.

Steps for Troubleshooting

1. Confirm your format

Verify your paylink is in the form http://ITEM.PUBLISHER.pay.clickbank.net.
Note:
- Replace ITEM with the item number of the link (product) for sale. As you set up products to sell in your ClickBank account, you will need to assign each of your links an item number: 1,2,3, etc. If you are setting up your first product, the item number is 1.
- Replace PUBLISHER with your ClickBank account nickname.

2. Confirm availability of ClickBank's IP addresses

We have four paylink IP addresses. Verify you can ping all of them.
